  • Joseph Vidmar Operating Partner and Project Manager Joe Vidmar joined Amzak in 2013 as the Operating Partner and Project Manager. Joe provides leadership and project management experience to conduct financial, operational, technical, and market analysis to create capacity and financial models for investments as well as operational project execution and oversight. Joe has 25+ years of experience in heavy and light manufacturing environments. Prior to joining Amzak, he was General Manager for Alcoa Architectural Products, North America. In his 23 years with Alcoa, Inc., Joe held various leadership positions in casting, hot rolling, cold rolling, slitting, power generation, smelting, and aluminum finishing. He worked in the rigid can sheet, flat rolled products, and architectural products divisions. Joe holds a Master’s of Science in Industrial Management and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Finance Concentration from the University of Southern Indiana. Joe is a US Navy Veteran and served on submarines as a Nuclear Electrician's Mate and Scuba Diver.

  • Paula Moreau Finance IntegrationPaula is a member of the operations group providing guidance, direction, and oversight to portfolio companies in the areas of finance and administration. Paula has 30+ years of experience, primarily in industry. Her introduction to Amzak was as CFO at KPAQ, one of Amzak’s former portfolio companies, from 2010-2015. She rejoined the Amzak Team in 2017. She has held various roles of increasing responsibility over her career. Her major points of focus have been with mergers and acquisitions, cash flow management, streamlining business for cost optimization, inventory cost accounting, and financial reporting. She has participated on project committees for several ERP systems implementations. She is an active licensed CPA and holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and an MBA, both from Louisiana State University.

     

  • Marco Mendez Information Manager Marco is the Information Manager of Amzak Capital Management. He is responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and control of information applications, and enterprise reporting and analytics. Marco joined the group in 1999, as part of Amnet Costa Rica. He participated in the implementation of the CRM solution in Central America, and in several merger and acquisitions performed by Amzak in Latin America. Marco has also worked at IBM, as a Six Sigma and Quality Manager, and at Hay Group, as a Process Analyst. Marco holds a Masters in IT Administration from Tecnol√≥gico de Monterrey (ITESM) and a Bachelor's in Business Administration from Universidad Interamericana de Costa Rica.

  • Joanne RodriguezControllerJoanne is the Controller of Amzak Capital Management. She has been a part of Amzak since 1998. Joanne is responsible for the various entities’ accounting and financial reporting. She has participated in the due diligence and implementation of the accounting and finance departments in several merger and acquisitions performed by Amzak in Latin America. Prior to Amzak, she worked as an internal auditor for UnitedHealthcare, and as an accounting manager at the accounting firm Friedman, Alpren and Green. Joanne is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of NY. She holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Hunter College in New York City.

  • Mariangela SotoLegal AssociateMariangela is a Legal Associate of Amzak Capital and has been in the group since 2008, as part of Amnet El Salvador. She is responsible for revision and preparation of legal documents related to all the Amzak´s active operations and legal affairs. She is also responsible for the group documentation supporting the other teams in organizing and reviewing all the information of deals and Due Diligences in the different operations and transactions Amzak is involved. She has a Degree in Law from Fermin Toro University in Venezuela with the title of Lawyer and also has a Master Degree in International Law from the Universidad Complutense in Madrid, Spain.
     

  • Jaime Stanley Asset ManagerJaime is an Asset Manager at Amzak Capital Management. She is responsible for monitoring and evaluating the performance of our multifamily portfolio. Jaime brings more than 20 years’ experience in multifamily operations. She previously served as a Regional Manager with Pegasus Residential and ZRS Management, where she excelled in property management. Jaime’s background includes new development, condo conversions, acquisitions, business development, repositioning, and lease-up of property. In addition, she served as Chief Operating Officer in an Integrative Medicine practice, where she played an integral part in escalating the company’s performance to the top 3% in the country. Jaime was designated as a Certified Property Manager (CPM®) through the Institute of Real Estate Management in 2007. Email: jstanley@amzak.com

     

  • Zachary Hinners Real Estate AccountantHe is responsible for preparing the monthly financial packages and financial analysis for Amzak’s real estate investments as well as input in financial modeling for potential acquisitions. Prior to Amzak, he worked as an accountant in the affordable housing market preparing financial statements and reporting to investors and lenders. Zach is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of WI. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance - Real Estate Emphasis from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Email: zhinners@amzak.com
